Well given the original post was 13th Oct, yes they are already long
gone. Of course no-one was ever able to explain to me what they
actually did, so I was already predisposed to removing the stubs. If
they are useful, by all means we should look at reimplementing them
and reintegrating them into Mulgara. However for now they are just
dead code that would need to be ported across to the new transaction
code, and would be essentially untestable as we don't have access to
the actual implementations.
From the examples you provide, they do sound useful, but it isn't
really a description of what related-to/isrelated actually do, so I'm
still rather in the dark as to what they actually are.
Anyway, the stubs were removed about a month ago - if people are
interested in the functionality then we can look at how it might be
implemented now - Mulgara has changed substantially since they were
first implemented.
